3 Steps to Restore Your Natural Curl Pattern from Heat Damage

We get a number of questions from our clients about hair maintenance, and have noticed that one frequent concern for new clients is how to go about repairing heat damaged hair.

To be honest, hair damage doesn't happen overnight,

so you can't expect repair to either.

But here are three steps you can take independently and/or with your stylist's help to help bring tortured tresses back to life.

1. Treat Your Tresses
Baby your hair back to health! Wash with a sulfate-free shampoo and use weekly deep conditioning treatments to help your hair restore its moisture and vibrance. There are a number of great options for SLS-free cleansing and conditioning - we like
Pureology Colour Fanatic Instant Deep Conditioning Mask.

2. Get the Ends Trimmed
You may not be ready to do your first (or another) big chop - and that's ok. But regular trims are equally important for restoring your hair's texture and maintaining its health.  (If you didn't know, we offer trims now! Check our services menu.)

3. Give it Time
We can't stress this enough- most damage doesn't happen in one sitting, so it won't be remedied overnight, either. Time paired with extra TLC and trims will help restore your stressed tresses- your patience and diligence will be worth it! More questions? Schedule a free consultation with one of our stylists.
